What desk do I need?

Work through these questions in order — space and monitor setup narrow the size, then storage, cables and height flexibility narrow the model.

How much space do you actually have?
Measure the wall length and depth available before choosing a width. Arc Pro is available in 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m, each at 70cm deep — leave at least 60–70cm of clearance behind the chair so it can be pushed back comfortably.
What will sit on the desk besides a laptop?
A laptop alone needs little depth. Add a monitor, keyboard, books, or study materials and 70cm of desktop depth gives you room to keep the monitor at a comfortable viewing distance without crowding your workspace.
What's your monitor setup — now and in a year?
Laptop-only fits comfortably on a 1.2m desk. A single monitor or two monitors side-by-side is realistic at 1.5m. Dual monitors, an ultrawide, or a monitor-arm-mounted setup is where 1.8m starts to matter.
Desktop PC, laptop, or both?
A desktop tower needs floor or under-desk space and adds cable load; a laptop-only setup has almost none. If you're mounting a PC under the desk, factor that into your width and cable-management choice.
Do you need built-in storage?
None of ULTI's desks include built-in drawers. If you need storage, ULTI sells add-on options such as a lockable under-desk storage drawer and an under-desk laptop storage drawer that clamp onto any of the desks above.
How much cable management do you need?
A single laptop charger needs almost none. A monitor, monitor arm, desk lamp and PC together benefit from a cable tray or organiser — ULTI sells several clamp-on, no-drill options that fit under any desk width.
Fixed height, or height-adjustable?
Both work for studying. A height-adjustable desk lets you change your working height or switch between sitting and standing; a fixed-height desk is simpler and typically lower cost. Neither is objectively "better" — it depends on whether height flexibility matters to you.

Common questions

What study desk should I buy in Singapore?
It depends on your room and monitor setup. For a laptop or single monitor in a smaller room, a 1.2m desk is usually enough. For studying plus computer work with one or two monitors, look at 1.5m. For multi-monitor or larger workstation needs, 1.8m gives the most room.
Is a standing desk suitable for studying?
Yes. A height-adjustable desk works the same as a fixed desk for studying, with the added option of changing your seated height or standing periodically. It isn't required for studying, but it removes the size limitation of a fixed table if your needs change later.
What size study table should I buy?

A 1.5m desk fits two monitors side-by-side on stands; a 1.8m desk gives more breathing room, especially if you're using a dual monitor arm, which frees up desk depth compared to monitor stands.
What desk works with a monitor arm?
Any of ULTI's desks work with a clamp-on or grommet-mount monitor arm, provided the desktop thickness and edge are within the arm's clamp range — check the specific arm's published clamp depth against your desk before ordering.
What desk is good for studying and gaming?
A 1.5m or 1.8m desk with a monitor arm and cable management handles both well — the deciding factor is usually monitor count and whether you're running a desktop PC, not the desk itself.
