Under-Desk PC Holder Guide: What to Check Before Mounting Your Computer

An under-desk PC holder can free floor space, make cable routing neater and allow a computer to move with a standing desk. The important question is not simply whether a holder looks large enough. Check the PC’s actual dimensions and weight, the holder’s published limits, the desk’s structure and the cable travel through the complete height range.

Measure the computer, including what sticks out

Record the case height, width, depth and weight, then add room for feet, handles, power plugs, display cables and ventilation. Do not use the PC’s retail-box size.
