A tech-show demo cannot confirm monitor-arm compatibility unless you bring the information that matters. Screen size is not enough. A reliable decision uses the exact monitor model, bare weight, VESA pattern and desk mounting conditions.

1. The monitor’s make and exact model number.
2. The manufacturer’s bare weight, without the original stand.
3. VESA pattern and a photo of the rear mounting area.
4. A photo of the desk edge and underside at the clamp location.
5. Desktop thickness, rear clearance and a note of any drawer, rail or cable tray.

Compare the monitor’s bare weight with the arm’s published range, then confirm VESA compatibility.
